A state of constant change: ephemerality, evanescence, fleetingness, fugitiveness, impermanency, momentariness, temporariness, transience, transiency, transitoriness
Working together in artistic dialogue, SUMOfc and textile artist Michèle Guevara will explore the concept of Impermanence creating a series of 2d and 3d artworks. Achieving a complete body of work that explores the material implications of the said concept. This will be done by combining printmaking and weaving techniques and by using common materials in unconventional ways, exploring material-driven processes and their variation over time.
